Pork Pot Roast

List of Ingredients
3 lb. pork roast
1 Tablespoon bacon drippings
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 teaspoon thyme
2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cumin
1/4 cup Italian salad dressing--use classic Italian with vinegar and oil and
spices, shake well before pouring. If all that pours out is oil, try again
until at least 1/3 is the vinegar and spice part of the dressing.
1 can (15 oz) beef broth
Recipe
Set electric skillet to 450 degrees. Mix the seasonings and rub them
well over the roast. In the bacon dripppings, brown the meat on all sides.
Lower heat to 360 and cook for about 30 minutes, turning at least twice.
Add salad dressing and broth, cook for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 325
degrees and cook for an additional hour and a half to 2 hours. Add water as
needed to prevent it from cooking completely dry. Let it set 10 minutes
before slicing. Serves 6.
