cold green bean salad

Something else that I love is a cold green bean salad. My Italian
mother taught me this one. Take about a couple cups steamed green
beans, mash a clove of garlic, pour some wine vinegar (about 6 T or
more to taste), about a quarter cup or less olive oil, salt and
pepper. You can keep this in the fridge (tightly closed...the aroma!)
and have it as a side
with anything. FTR, I only use fresh green beans but you could
probably use canned or frozen, just not as good:)
