Spicy Candied Nuts

1/4 cup sugar free syrup such as Torani Sugar free almond roca or Da Vinci
Sugar free french vanilla syrup
1 T peanut oil
1/2 # nuts, such as walnut halves, sliced almonds or pecan halves
1 tsp Splenda
1/4 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Combine oil and sugar-free syrup. Heat in a small pan, stirring constantly,
then add nuts. Cook over low heat until the syrup thoroughly coats the nuts.
Spread aluminum foil on a cookie sheet, then spoon the nuts onto the foil.
Combine Splenda and spices and mix with the nuts. Bake @ 300 F for 40 to 50
minutes, depending on your oven. Nuts will turn light brown (don't burn em!)
Your kitchen will smell irresistible, but let the tasty little nuggets cool
completely before you indulge. Carb count will vary, depending on the nut
you choose. Approximately eight servings.
