Bean, Chicken, and Sausage Soup

List of Ingredients
3/4 lb bulk Italian sausage
1 cups chopped onion
3 bacon strips, diced
1 quarts water
1 cans (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained
1 bay leaves
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp savory
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp basil
1/4 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp pepper
2 cups cooked chicken, cubed
1 cans (15.5 oz) great Northern beans, rinsed and drained**
Recipe
In soup kettle, cook sausage, onion, and bacon over med-high heat until sausage is no longer pink. Drain. Add water, tomatoes, and seasonings. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes. Add the chicken and beans. Simmer, uncovered, for 30-45 minutes. Remove bay leaves before serving.
