    Family Favorite Soups and Slow cooker recipes

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb bulk Italian sausage
    1 lb ground beef
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 pound sliced mushrooms
    1 can (46 oz) V8 tomato juice
    1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
    1 tsp Splenda
    1 tsp salt
    1 tsp garlic powder
    1 tsp oregano
    1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp basil
    1/2 tsp pepper

    Recipe



    In large saucepan, cook sausage, beef, and onion over med heat until meat is no longer pink. Stir in remaining ingredients. Bring to boil. Reduce heat, simmer and cover for 1 hour. Top with sour cream and cheddar cheese if desired.

    Makes 8 servings
