Taco Soup

Recipe Introduction
In about 1 Tablespoon of butter, brown about a pound of ground beef in a
large soup kettle. When browned, add 4 Tablespoons of taco seasoning and
stir into meat. Add one can (14.5 oz.) of beef broth and bring to a boil.
In a saute pan, while ground beef is cooking, add 1 Tablespoon of butter and
3/4 each of a medium onion, diced and a medium green pepper, diced. Cook
until onion is clear. When ground beef mixture in soup kettle is boiling,
add the onion/green pepper. Stir. Turn soup kettle down to simmer and add
the following:

1 large can of mushroom stems and pieces;
1 14.5 oz. can of cut green beans;
1 small head of cabbage, chopped;
2 Roma tomatoes, diced; and
6 cups water.Recipe
Simmer for an hour or so until cabbage is tender. Add salt to taste.
This will make about ten servings or so.
