List of Ingredients
4 large Vidalia onions (or other sweet onions)
4 Tablespoons Butter
1/4 cup crumbs made from pork rinds
1/2 teaspoon granulated garlic
Salt and pepper to taste
Recipe
Peel onion and cut down to root-end in 8 wedges; do not cut
through root so onion stays together. Divide butter in 4
pats & place 1 on top of each onion. Mix together the pork
rind crumbs and the granulated garlic. Sprinkle each onion
with crumbs, salt & lots of freshly ground pepper to taste.
Wrap each onion separately in foil. Bake at 350° F for 45
minutes until onions are soft. Let rest for 20 minutes
before serving. 4 Servings
