Fresh Herbed Tomatoes

List of Ingredients
6 ripe tomatoes, peeled and sliced
1 teaspoon of salt
1/4 teaspoon of freshly ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme or marjoram, crushed
1/4 cup of finely snipped parsley
1/4 cup of snipped chives
2/3 cup of salad oil
1/4 cup of tarragon vinegar
Recipe
Place the tomatoes in bowl and sprinkle with the seasonings
and herbs. Combine the oil and vinegar and pour over the
tomatoes. Cover and chill for about 3 hours, frequently
spooning the dressing over the tomatoes. Drain off the
excess dressing and serve with the tomatoes.
