    NOTE: This recipe shows only one serving so you must divide the carb
    count by the number of servings minus fiber.

    List of Ingredients




    3 pounds green beans -- fresh & trimmed
    1 tablespoon butter
    2 tablespoons cream
    2 tablespoons mushrooms -- finely chopped
    1/4 cup walnuts -- coarsely chopped
    1/2 tablespoon garlic
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    2 slices bacon -- cooked and crumbled

    Boil 2 quarts water to a rolling boil. Add green beans. Return to
    a boil & continue for 5 minutes. Drain & place beans in a bowl. In
    same saucepan, add butter, cream, walnuts, scallions, garlic, &
    salt. Whisk constantly over medium heat to thicken. Return beans to
    saucepan. Toss to coat thoroughly. Garnish with crumbled bacon.
