    Pasta with a garlic and cream sauce

    List of Ingredients




    If your a pasta fan like me and my family then you will love this one and it's so easy (honest it is)hehe....

    1 tablespoon of olive oil,
    1 tablespoon of butter,
    1 tablespoon of chopped onion (you can use any old onion but i like the good old red onion it gives the meal a little kick)
    4to5 ounces of dry white wine,
    3to4 slices of lemon,
    2 tablespoons of freshly chopped parsley (if you have a food processer it's much quicker to chuck it in there)
    1/2to1 cups of double cream (this is just about right for 2 people)
    salt and pepper to taste,

    and to finish this great easy dish just add
    2 sprigs of parsley

    Have your pasta cooking first as this dish doesnt take long use any pasta you like,

    In a pan heat up the butter and olive oil together, now put in the chopped onion's and garlic cook for about a minute -do not brown-, add the lemon and the white wine let it boil over a high heat and cook until the wine is reduced to half's it volume, take out the lemon and add the cream add your salt and pepper to your liking, let it boil over a medium heat when you thinks it thick enough to your liking add the chopped parsley, let it simmer for a few more minutes then your ready.......and just pour over your pasta and enjoy.......
