    Ok, this one is for Shantelle, she loves shortbread so much.

    List of Ingredients




    1 cup softened butter
    1/2 cup sugar
    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
    2 1/4 cups flour
    1/8 teaspoon salt
    14 coarsely crumbled chocolate sandwich cookies

    Recipe



    Heat oven to 275°F. Beat butter and sugar together till
    creamy. Stir in vanilla. Combine flour and salt and add
    to butter mixture till blended. Stir in cookie crumbs. Roll
    out to 1/2 inch thickness on lightly floured surface. Cut
    into 2 1/2 inch rounds or other shapes. Place 2 inches
    apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake 48 minutes till
    bottoms barely begin to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking
    sheets then remove to racks to cool completely.
