Recipe Introduction


I had been craving oatmeal cookies, but had no plain instant oatmeal. I did not let this stop me I used some packages of flavored instant oatmeal I had on hand and the results where absolutly fabulous!!!!!!!!!! You pick the flavor and you taste the results.


List of Ingredients




cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1/3-1/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup corn syrup
1/4 cup skim milk (aprox)
1 tsp vanilla
5 pkg's (35 g each) instant oatmeal (I used 2 banana cream,1 cinnamon spice,2 peaches & cream and 1 raisin, walnut and date) that is what I had on hand

Recipe



1. Mix all the dry ingredients together in one bowl.
2. Mix all the wet ingredients in another bowl.
3. Add the wet ingredients to the dry and mix well.
4. Adding a little skim milk if needed.
5. Bake 350 for 10 minutes, let cool and place on rack.
