    This is a tasty dish. I found this recipe in a old church cookbook that I bought at a antique shop in North Carolina.

    List of Ingredients




    8 pork chops
    2 oranges, sliced
    3 tablespoons sugar
    1/4 teaspoon oregano
    1 cup orange juice

    Recipe



    1. Brown the chops in a little oil.
    2. When chops are brown on both sides, remove from pan.
    3. Add brown sugar, stirring till sugar is melted.
    4. Add orange slices, turn often.
    5. When brown, add orange juice and chops.
    6. Cover and simmer about 45 minutes.
