1 head cabbage, chopped
1 tsp caraway seed
¾ C water
½ C white vinegar
sugar, to taste
salt / pepper to taste
1 onion, chopped
1 to 2 T flour
Cook cabbage, caraway seed, water and vinegar until tender. Sauté onion and flour in crisco shortening until brown. Add onion mixture to cabbage mixture and cook until thickened
