2 pkg. leaf spinach, cooked, drained well (save liquid) and chop
¼ to ½ lb. margarine or butter
1 small onion, chopped fine
1 T flour
1 tsp MSG or salt
¼ tsp pepper
¼ tsp sugar
¼ to ½ C water (to make desired consistency)
Brown onion in butter, add flour, cook until golden brown. Add cooked spinach, spinach water, water, & seasonings. Heat until thickened.
