Cherry Marshmallow Cake

1 can of cherry pie filling
1 bag of mini marshmallows
1 box of yellow cake mix
1 cup water
3 eggs
1/3 cup oil

13-by-9-inch pan

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Put mini marshmallows on a bottom of a 13-by-9-inch pan, use enough marshmallows to cover the bottom of the pan completely. Make the yellow cake mix according to the directions on the cake mix. Pour batter over the marshmallows, spreading batter as even as possible. Dump spoonfuls of the cherry pie filling all over the top of the batter until all pie filling is gone.
Note: the cherry pie filling does not need to be spread out evenly, the cherries will spread out during baking.
Bake for 30-40 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean.
