Ingredients:
4 c. flour (not sifted)
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. molasses
2 1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. baking soda
Recipe
Make crumbly mixture from flour, sugar and butter. Reserve 1 cup for topping. Add molasses, boiling water and baking soda to remaining crumb mixture. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle crumbs on top and bake for 35-45 minutes at 350 degrees. NOTE: This is a very wet cake and baking times may vary.
