1 yellow cake mix

1- 16 oz. can fruit cocktail

2 1/3 c. coconut

2 eggs

1/2 c firmly packed brown sugar

1/2 c butter or oleo

1/2 c granulated sugar

1/2 c evaporated milk

Recipe



Combine cake mix, fruit cocktail with syrup, 1 cup of the coconut and the eggs in large mixer bowl.

Blend, then beat at med. speed for 2 minutes.

Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan.

Sprinkle with brown sugar.

Bake at 325 for 45 minutes.

In small pan, bring sugar, butter,and evaporated milk to a boil and boil 2-3 minutes.

Stir in rest of coconut.

Spoon over hot cake in pan or spoon a few tablespoons over hot cake and reheat sauce and use when you serve the cake.
