    CHEESY SPAGHETTI BAKE

    1 lb. ground beef

    1 small onion, chopped

    One 15-oz. can spaghetti sauce with mushrooms

    6-7 oz. spaghetti noodles

    2 tablespoons butter

    1 tablespoon flour

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    3/4 cup evaporated milk

    1/3 cup water

    1 cup American cheese, shredded, divided

    2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese

    Brown beef and onion, drain. Add spaghetti sauce, simmer 10 minutes.

    Break spaghetti noodles into quarters to measure 1-1/2 cups. Cook according to directions, rinse and drain. Add sauce.

    Melt butter in saucepan, stir in flour and salt. Add evaporated milk and water. Cook over medium heat until slightly thickened. Stir constantly. Add 1/2 cup American and all of the Parmesan cheese. Stir until melted.

    Spread half of spaghetti mixture in bottom of 10x6x2 baking dish. Top with all of cheese sauce. Add remaining spaghetti mixture. Top with other 1/2 cup American cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
