    4 c. uncooked elbow macaroni
    2 lb. ground beef
    2 (15 oz.) cans tomato sauce
    2 pkg. taco seasoning mix
    (1 1/4 oz. each)
    2 (15 oz.) cans kidney beans
    1 c. ripe olives, sliced
    1/2 c. milk
    4 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese,
    grated
    2 c. shredded lettuce
    2 tomatoes, diced
    taco sauce (optional)
    taco chips (optional)

    Recipe



    In a large skillet, brown meat; pour off fat. Add taco
    seasoning, tomato sauce, beans and olives. Simmer uncovered
    for 5 minutes. Meanwhile, cook macaroni according to package
    directions; drain. Stir milk and 3 cups cheese into hot
    macaroni. In a greased 5 quart casserole or ovenproof Dutch
    oven, layer 1/2 the macaroni, 1/2 the meat mixture, remaining
    macaroni and remaining meat mixture. Bake uncovered in a 375 degrees
    oven for 25 to 30 minutes.
    To serve, let each person top with lettuce, tomato,
    grated cheese, taco sauce and taco chips. Serves 6 to 8 hearty
    appetites. (Note: Recipe can be halved.)
