Silverado Taco Casserole

10 taco shells, coarsely
broken
1 1/2 lb. ground chuck
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. dried onion flakes
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
8 oz. Monterey Jack cheese,
shredded
1 large tomato, cut in wedges
6 stuffed green olives, sliced
1 jar taco sauce
Recipe
Place half the broken taco shells in a lightly greased
6-cup baking dish; reserve. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown beef,
breaking up with a spoon, in large skillet; drain fat. Add
taco seasoning mix and water; simmer, uncovered, for 10 min-
utes. Stir in onion and tomato sauce. Spoon meat mixture over
taco shells; sprinkle with 1 1/2 cups cheese. Add remaining
taco shells; sprinkle with remaining cheese. Arrange tomato
wedges and olives on top. Bake in oven for 15 minutes or until
hot and bubbly. Serve with taco sauce.
