    Cheddar Chowder

    List of Ingredients

    2 cups Water

    2 cups Potatoes, diced

    1/2 cup Carrots, diced

    1/2 cup Celery, diced

    1/4 cup Onions, chopped

    1 tsp Salt

    1/4 tsp Pepper

    1/4 cup Butter

    1/4 cup Flour

    2 cups Milk

    2 cups Cheddar Cheese, grated

    1 cup Ham, cubed

    Recipe


    1. Combine water, potatoes, carrots, celery, onion, salt, and pepper in a large kettle. Boil for 10-12 minutes.

    2. Meanwhile in a saucepan, make your white sauce by melting butter, adding flour, and stirring until smooth. Slowly add milk, stirring continuously until thick. Stir in grated cheese until melted.

    3. Add sauce and ham to vegetables (do not drain them). Heat through (at this point you can put into crock pot for a few hours if you choose).
