Oatmeal Rice Krispies

1 c. shortening
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c. Rice krispies
2 c. quick oatmeal
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 T. vanilla
1 c. coconut, optionalRecipe
Mix in order given. Make ball size of a walnut and place on greased cookie sheet. Flatten with a glass. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes.
