Crust:
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Work together like pie crust and spread into 9 x 13 pan. Bake at 350° for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool, crumble with a spoon and take out 1/2 cup for topping. Spread remainder evenly over bottom of pan.
Filling:
1 pkg. (10 oz.) frozen strawberries, partially thawed
2 egg whites
1 c. sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 c. whipped whipping cream
Put strawberries, egg whites, sugar and lemon juice in a large mixing bowl and beat at high speed about 10 or 15 minutes, or until it holds its shape. Fold whipped cream into berry mixture. Spread over crumbs. Sprinkle remaining crumbs over top. FreezeRecipe
