Pumpkin Triffle

Box spice cake mix
15 oz can pumpkin
29 oz can pumpkin pie filling
container fat-free kool whip (thawed)
2 gingersnap cookies, crushed fine
Recipe
Mix cake and canned pumpkin well, bake in any shape pan according to cake's package directions (I did a 9 x 13 at 350 for 35 mins). Cool cake completely, cut/crumble into bite-sized pieces.
In a trifle bowl, glass bowl, lasagna pan, etc. layer cake pieces, canned pumpkin pie filling, kool whip. Continue with several layers. End with kool whip and top with crushed gingersnap cookies.
It's best if you make it the night before, cover it, and chill in the fridge to let the flavors set.
