    1/2 lb. bacon
    3/4 c. chopped onion
    2 tbsp. flour
    2 tbsp. brown sugar
    1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1/8 tsp. dry mustard
    1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can French green beans, drained

    Recipe



    Cook bacon in large skillet until crisp; remove bacon. Retain 3 tablespoons of bacon drippings in pan.
    Saute onion in drippings until tender. Stir in flour, sugar, seasonings. Cook about 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add tomatoes and cook until thickened. Add green beans and heat through (if using fresh frozen beans make sure they are cooked first). Before serving, sprinkle with crumbled bacon.
