Layered Seafood Tray
This recipe is from "Savoring the Seasons Riverside", the official Mum fest cookbook of New Bern, North Carolina.
List of Ingredients
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- salt to taste
- dash of cayenne pepper
- dash of lemon pepper
- 1 (12 ounce) bottle of cocktail sauce, chilled
- 8 ounces crab meat
- 8 ounces shrimp, cooked diced
Instructions
- Combine the cream cheese, sour cream, salt, cayenne pepper and lemon pepper in a bowl and mix well. Spread in the center of a serving plate, forming a circle. Refrigerate, covered, for at least 30 minutes.
- When ready to serve, spread the cocktail sauce over the cream cheese circle. Top with the crab meat and shrimp. Serve with crackers.
