Blueberry Cheese Coffee Cake

- 1 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 cups blueberries
- 1 package (8oz.) cream cheese, cubed
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- Topping
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Combine 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately wth milk and water. Toss blueberries in remaining flour: fold into batter with cream cheese and rind. Pour into greased and floured 9x13inch baking pan.
- For the topping: Combine sugar, flour and rind; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over batter. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 1 hour.
