    List of Ingredients


    • 1 -20 ounce can crushed pineapple, packed in juice
    • 1 can cherry pie filling
    • 1 package Duncan Hines Delux II Yellow Cake Mix
    • 1 cup chopped walnuts
    • 1 pound butter (brick)


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
    2. Spray a 9x13x2 inch pan with Pam. Drain pineapple. Layer the pineapple, then the pie filling, cake mix, and nuts. Set aside. With a cheese slicer cut the butter into slices. Cover the entire surface of cake with the butter.
    3. Bake for 1 hour or til top is golden brown.
    4. Cool and enjoy. Serve from pan.


    Final Comments


    Note, Just sprinkle cake mix as it is from the box evenly over the pie filling.
