    Quick Lemon Sheet Cake

    Recipe Introduction


    This is a good dish to bring to a large gathering.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 package lemon cake mix (18 1/4 ounce)
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 can lemon pie filling (15 3/4 ounce)
    • 1 3 ounce package cream cheese, softened
    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 2 cups confectioner's sugar
    • 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


    Instructions


    1. In a large bowl, beat the cake mix and eggs until well blended. Fold in pie filling. Spread into a greased 15 x 10 x 1 inch baking pan.
    2. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 18- 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
    3. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese, butter and confectioners sugar until smooth. Stir in vanilla. Spread over cake. Store in the refrigerator.
