    Strawberry-White-Chocolate Dessert

    2 6oz pkg white baking bars- cut up
    1 ½ cups whipping cream
    1 cup brewed espresso or strong coffee
    2 TBSP brandy (optional)
    1 – 3 ounce pkg cream cheese softened
    2 ½ 3-ounce packages (30 total) ladyfingers split
    3 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
    2 cups halved strawberries

    Recipe




    Chill a medium mixing bowl and beaters.

    In medium saucepan combine baking bars and ¼ cup of the cream. Heat and stir over low heat until bars have melted. Cool slightly.

    Stir together brandy and espresso in bowl. Set aside

    For filling:
    In chilled bowl beat remaining whipping cream with mixer on medium speed until soft peaks form; set aside.

    In large mixing bowl beat cream cheese till fluffy; Add cooled white baking bar mixture to cream cheese; beat on medium speed till smooth. Fold whipped cream into cream, cheese mixtures. Set aside.

    To assemble:
    Split the ladyfingers apart and line the sides of an 9-inch spring form pan placing the flat side in. Arrange half of the remaining ladyfingers on the bottom the pan. Drizzle half of the espresso mixture over ladyfingers in the bottom of the pan. Spoon a third of the filling over ladyfingers. Top with sliced strawberries. Top with remaining ladyfingers. Drizzle with reaming espresso mixture. Top with remaining filing. Cover and chill for 3-4 hours. (I make this the night before)

    When ready to serve, arrange halved berries on top of filling. Cut into wedges and serve.
    I added this part and I think it really enhanced it. I took special dark chocolate and placed in a Ziploc sandwich bag. Melted it in the microwave. Snip corner off tip and drizzled dark chocolate over wedge.

    This is easy and really makes a beautiful presentation.
