Recipe Introduction
This recipe is good for low carbers.
It's a casserole but could be served as an appetizer.
List of Ingredients
- 3 Belgium Endives
- 6 ham slices
- 6 Entremonte Comte Cheese slices
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon Olive oil
Instructions
- Remove the stem from the endive. Boil the Endive in a pot of salted water for 10 minutes or until tender. Let cool and cut in half lengthwise.
- Wrap each Endive with the ham and place in one layer in an oiled baking dish. Cover with the cheese and place under the broiler until the cheese is melted and browned slightly.
- Garnish with the chopped parsley and sprinkle with the nutmeg.
