    Hotel Nauvoo Wild Rice Casserole

    This is an old recipe from either Bon Apetite or Gourmet magazine. The first time I made it, was after a Thanksgiving with a too large turkey and a lot of leftovers.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cups cooked wild rice
    • 1 101/2-ounce can condensed mushroom soup
    • 2 cups diced cooked chicken or turkey
    • 1 cup soft bread crumbs
    • 2 tablespoons melted butter
    • 1/2 cup chicken gravy


    Instructions


    1. Combine rice, soup, chicken gravy, and chicken.
    2. Turn into 2-quart casserole.
    3. Toss together bread crumbs and melted butter; sprinkle over top.
    4. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.


    Final Comments


    This makes 8 servings.
