List of Ingredients
- 1 package (as large as you like) Swiss steak, cut into serving size pieces
- flour
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 envelope dry onion soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
Instructions
- Tenderize meat, dredge in flour, salt and pepper. Brown meat in small amount of oil. Place pieces in crock pot. Put the dry onion soup, mushroom soup and 1 can of water in a bowl. Stir with whisk until combined. Pour into pan with meat drippings, combine. Pour soup mixture over meat pieces in crock pot. Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours.
- Soup mixture can be thickened for a thicker gravy.
