    List of Ingredients


    • 1 package (as large as you like) Swiss steak, cut into serving size pieces
    • flour
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1/2 envelope dry onion soup
    • 1 can cream of mushroom soup


    Instructions


    1. Tenderize meat, dredge in flour, salt and pepper. Brown meat in small amount of oil. Place pieces in crock pot. Put the dry onion soup, mushroom soup and 1 can of water in a bowl. Stir with whisk until combined. Pour into pan with meat drippings, combine. Pour soup mixture over meat pieces in crock pot. Cook on low 8-10 hours or high 4-5 hours.
    2. Soup mixture can be thickened for a thicker gravy.
