Apple Cranberry Cookie Cobbler
This is from a Pampered Chef party I attended recently. It's great for the fall when apples are plentiful.
List of Ingredients
- 5 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced.
- 1 can (16 oz.) whole berry cranberry sauce
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon (I like to add more)
- 1 package (20 oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
- Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Peel, core, and slice apples. Cut apples in half, place in a deep baking pan.
- Combine cranberry sauce, sugar, flour and cinnamon in bowl, mix well.
- Slice cookie dough into 1/4 inch thick slices. Arrange evenly over apple mixture. Bake 30-35 minutes or until apples are tender and top is golden brown.
- Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.

Makes 10 servings.
