    Apple Cranberry Cookie Cobbler

This is from a Pampered Chef party I attended recently. It's great for the fall when apples are plentiful.

    List of Ingredients

    • 5 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and sliced.
    • 1 can (16 oz.) whole berry cranberry sauce
    • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    • 3 tablespoons all purpose flour
    • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (I like to add more)
    • 1 package (20 oz.) refrigerated sugar cookie dough
    • Vanilla Ice Cream (optional)

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
    2. Peel, core, and slice apples. Cut apples in half, place in a deep baking pan.
    3. Combine cranberry sauce, sugar, flour and cinnamon in bowl, mix well.
    4. Slice cookie dough into 1/4 inch thick slices. Arrange evenly over apple mixture. Bake 30-35 minutes or until apples are tender and top is golden brown.
    5. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
