Cajun Rub Seasnoning
This is Emeril Lagasse's Rub. I make a double recipe and always keep a jar on hand.
I use it for shrimp on the barbeque. I just mix it with 2 Tablespoons of oil and rub all over the shrimp about an hour before cooking. Nice and spicy!
List of Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
- 1 tablespoon dried oregano
- 1 tablespoon dried thyme
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients together in an air tight jar. Store seasoning away from heat and light. Makes about 3/4 cup.
