Pork Chops with Scalloped Potatoes
This is a recipe from LaDonna's Cookbook here at the Recipe Circus. I modified it a little bit. Yummy!
List of Ingredients
- 6-8 Pork chops
- 5 cups potatoes, sliced thin
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 onion, diced
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup, condensed
- 1 cup cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brown porkchops in oil and butter. Remove to platter. Brown onions in drippings from pork chops.
- Place 1/2 of the potatoes in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Top with cheese and add remaining potatoes.
- Place pork chops on top and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put onions on top of pork chops.
- Mix soup and cream in a small bowl and pour over the chops and potatoes. Cover and bake for 1 hour, remove cover and bake another 30 minutes.
