    Pork Chops with red Cabbage

    makes 4 servings.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4 loin pork chops, 1 inch thick.
    • 1 large onion, chopped
    • 1 jar sweet/soour red cabbage
    • 11 small red apple quarted, cored and sliced


    Instructions


    1. Place pork chops in a large skillet over low heat. Brown both sides.
    2. Remove chops from pan. Set aside.
    3. Add onion to fat in skillet, saute 5 minutes. Arrange pork chops over onions.
    4. Lower heat, cover. Cook 30 minutes, turning twice until glazedand most of the liquid has evaporated.
    5. Remove chops and keep warm.
    6. Drain liquid from cabbage. Stir cabbage into skillet with apple slices, cook until heated through. Arrange pork chops over mixture.
