    List of Ingredients


    • SAUCE
    • 1 large can of tomato puree
    • 1 large can of tomato paste
    • seasonings: oregano, basil, parsley, garlic (minced), olive oil
    • FILLING
    • 2 lbs. ricotta cheese
    • 8 ounces mozarella cheese, shredded
    • 2 eggs
    • grated parmesan cheese
    • garlic, minced
    • parsley
    • 1 package of lasagna noodles


    Instructions


    1. SAUCE: Lightly brown garlic in olive oil. If making meatballs, brown. When meatballs are done remove from pot. To pot add can of puree and 1 can of water. Return meatballs to pot and simmer.
      After a few hours, add tomato paste and 1 can of water. Let simmer for another hour or so, stirring occasionally to prevent burning.
    2. FILLING: Mix all ingredients together.
    3. Cook noodles or use precooked noodles.
    4. Layer, in a large baking dish, sauce, noodles, and filling. Repeat until all is used. Finish with sauce.
      Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes or until bubbling.
      Let sit for 20 minutes before cutting and serving.
