I went to a Pampered Chef Party the other night and the hostess served this delicious dish.
List of Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
1 cup broccoli, chopped
1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1 clove garlic, pressed
1/2 cup mayonaise
1 teaspoon dill weed
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 packages refrigerated crescent rolls
1 egg white, beaten
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Chop chicken and broccoli, place in bowl. Add bell pepper and cheese. Press garlic over vegetable mixture. Add mayonnaise, dill and salt; mix well.
Unroll 1 package of crescent dough; do not separate. Arrange longest sides of dough across a jelly roll pan. Repeat with remaining package of dough. Seal preforations in dough.
On longest sides of pan, cut dough into strops 1 1/2 inches apart, 3 inches deep using a sharp knife or pizza cutter. (there will be 6 inches in center for filling) Spread filling evenly over middle of dough.
To braid, lift strips of dough across mixture to meet in center, twisting each strip one turn. Continue alternating strips to form a braid. Tuck ends up to form a rim at end of braid.
Brush egg white over dough.
Bake 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
10 servings.
