    Italian-Style Chicken

    This comes from the Firefighters Cookbook. This particular recipe is by Dominic A. Genovese, Engine 224, FDNY. I use the recipes in this book a lot.


    List of Ingredients


    • 1 egg
    • 2/3 cup sour cream
    • 1 cup bread crumbs
    • 1/4 cup grated pecorino Romano cheese
    • 2 1/2 lbs chicken breasts


    Instructions


    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
    2. Mix the egg with the sour cream in a pie dish. Mix the bread crumbs and cheese in another dish.

    3. Dip chicken pieces into the egg and sour cream mixture, then roll in the bread crumbs.
    4. Bake in a lightly oiled baking dish for 45 or 50 minutes.
