Italian-Style Chicken
This comes from the Firefighters Cookbook. This particular recipe is by Dominic A. Genovese, Engine 224, FDNY. I use the recipes in this book a lot.
List of Ingredients
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated pecorino Romano cheese
- 2 1/2 lbs chicken breasts
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Mix the egg with the sour cream in a pie dish. Mix the bread crumbs and cheese in another dish.
- Dip chicken pieces into the egg and sour cream mixture, then roll in the bread crumbs.
- Bake in a lightly oiled baking dish for 45 or 50 minutes.
