    Lost Chicken

This recipe has an unusual flavor, tangy but good. It seems that all my good recipes either came from friends or The Record, my local newspaper. This one came from the latter.

    List of Ingredients

    • 2 split, boneless, skinless chicken breasts (4 halves)
    • Salt and pepper
    • 1/4 cup lime juice
    • 1 package Italian salad dressing mix (I use Good Seasons)
    • 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted

    Instructions

    1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper to taste.
    2. Mix together lime juice, salad dressing mix, and butter or margarine.
    3. Place chicken in one layer in a baking dish. Pour sauce over chicken, making sure all surfaces are coated. Cover with foil.
    4. Bake 1 hour, removing foil 15 minutes before cooking time is finished.

    Final Comments

    This recipe serves 4.
I do not use the salt. I find the dressing mix is quite salty enough.
