    Berry Sauce for pound cake

    Make this to put on pound cake or Angel Food cake, with whipped cream.


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cups berries
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 1 T lemon juice
    • 2/3 cup water
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla


    Instructions


    1. Cook all ingredients, except vanilla, for 10 minutes in a sauce pan. When cooled, add vanilla. This sauce can be refrigerated till ready to use.
    2. Serve over cake with whipped cream.
