List of Ingredients
- 2 pounds Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 3 large garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup butter, (1 stick)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups cooked ham, finely diced
Instructions
- In a pot, combine potatoes, garlic, butter, salt and pepper. Cover with water. Boil until potatoes are fork tender. Lower heat to medium, roughly mash potatoes, leaving some schunks. Add milk, slowly. Add ham. Simmer 10 minutes, stirring often to prevent sticking. Add water if soup is too thick.
