    I made these for Christmas dinner. Everyone said they were very good


    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
    • 1 cup buttermilk
    • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
    • freshly ground pepper


    Instructions


    1. Place potatoes in a saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat. reduce the heat and simmer until the potatoes are pierced easily with a fork. Drain.
    2. Place the potatoes in a large bowl and partially mash.
    3. Add the buttermilk, butter, pepper and mash completely. Serve immediatly.
