Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes

I made these for Christmas dinner. Everyone said they were very good
List of Ingredients
- 2 pounds russet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
- freshly ground pepper
Instructions
- Place potatoes in a saucepan with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil over high heat. reduce the heat and simmer until the potatoes are pierced easily with a fork. Drain.
- Place the potatoes in a large bowl and partially mash.
- Add the buttermilk, butter, pepper and mash completely. Serve immediatly.
