    Leita’s Slim Alfredo Sauce

    3 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
    1-cup skim milk
    1-cup nonfat chicken broth
    1/3-cup Parmesan cheese powder

    Recipe



    Melt butter in a 1-quart saucepan. Whisk in flour until blended. Slowly add milk and broth, whisking until blended. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer, whisking occasionally, until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat and whisk in cheese until blended.

    Makes 8 (1/3-cup) servings.

    Total recipe = 14 points

    1 serving = 3 points.
