Brown Sugar Brownies

- 2 1/4 cups unsifted flour
- 2 1/2 measuring teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 measuring teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 eggs
- 1 12-ounce package chocolate chips
- 1 12-ounce package toffee bits
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350-degrees.
- In a small bowl, combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract; beat until creamy.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in chocolate chips and toffee bits.
- Spread batter evenly in well greased 15x10x1-nch baking pan.
- Bake 35-40 minutes.
- Cool; cut into two-inch squares.
