Chili

From Annelle Johnson Spencer--given to me in 1971 or 1972
List of Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground chuck
- 1 garlic clove minced
- 1 cup of onions - diced
- 1 2lb can of tomato sauce
- 1 can Bush's Chili Hot beans
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seed
- 3 tablespoons of Mexicana Chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 3 or 4 shakes of garlic powder
- 2 tablespoons of Worcheshire sauce
- 1 cup hot water
- + 1 more tablespoon of chili powder
Instructions
- Brown beef in pan..take beef out and leave grease in. In grease brown garlic, and onion. Brown until onion is tender. Put meat back in pan. Add remaining ingredients.
- Simmer with cover on for 1 or 1 1/2 hours. Stir every 30 minutes. Affer cooking add 1 more tablespoon of chili powder.
