    Recipe Introduction

A family favorite! I serve this at just about every family gathering including holidays. I also like to serve it for supper with a bowl of either minestrone or lentil soup. Add a garden salad & Enjoy

    List of Ingredients

    Bread Dough:
    1 Tablespoon yeast
    1 cup warm water
    3 cups flour
    1 teaspon sugar
    1 1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/4 cup canola oil

    Filling:
    sliced pepperoni
    shredded mozzarella, about 12 oz.

    Recipe

Disolve yeast in warm water and let sit 5 minutes. Combine ingredients, adding the flour last , 1/2 at a time mixing well after each addition of flour. Cover and let rise about 30 minutes. Kneed well and roll out dough with rolling pin. (You may divide the dough into two if you wish for two smaller laoves)
Once you have your dough all rolled out, leaving an inch around the edges dough, cover the remainder of the dough with slices of pepperoni, Next top the pepperoni slices with the shredded mozzarella cheese. Roll dough into a loaf, tucking in the edges. Place the loaf on a non stick or greased baking sheet. Brsh with an egg wash if you wish then bake in 350 degree oven for approximately 20 minutes. Remove from oven, let cool to warm before slicing. Pour yourself a glass of a nice burgundy wine & enjoy!
