Amy's Angel Cookies

Recipe Introduction
This recipe was given out at my daughter in law's shower along with an angel cookie cookie. Although we call it Amy's angel cookie recipe, any cut out cookie shape may be used!
List of Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. almond extract (optional)
2 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cream of tartarRecipe
Add all of the above ingredients into bowl of electric mixer. Mix until soft dough forms. Remove from bowl. Chill dough in fridge until cool. Remove cooled dough from fridge, roll out and cut into desired shapes. Place on cookie sheet. Bake in 350 degree oven for 7 to 10 minutes. You may frost with your favorite iceing if you wish.
